Meredith Thompson’s community project, Imprint, was to be part of the In the Park series at the 2020 Guelph Dance Festival. We are hoping that the cancellation of the festival this year has only paused this remarkable project.
“Day to day, and moment to moment, we exist and live suspended by ten thousand threads of connection and interdependence. Whether we like to think so or not, we don’t accomplish anything in this world alone. Imprint is an acknowledgement of this interconnectivity and the many weavings of our lives”. – Meredith Thompson’s Imprint was first commissioned by Dusk Dances and premiered at Dusk Dances Withrow Park on August 5, 2019.
We were so lucky to have the opportunity for one rehearsal before the pandemic required us to practice social distancing. These are a couple of pictures from that magical afternoon with the most amazing humans! We look forward to being in the studio with all of you again!
