Born in Guelph, Lindsay Roe (she/her)graduated Ryerson’s Theatre Dance program in 2000. She has since choreographed, presented independent & groups works for music videos throughout the decade, notably for local musical artists VERSA ‘V’ (2019), L CON ‘The Form of Space’ (2017) and Diamond Rings ‘Wait & See’ (2009). With a footing in jazz, L Roe blends a bedrock of pedestrian and street, weaving in original found gestures and movements from the bodies she works with. Presenting works for Short & Sweet Guelph edition continually fosters a healthy dose of discovery & effort.
