Born and raised in Guelph, Kelly fell in love with contemporary dance during a performance at the Guelph Public Library at the age of 8. She then began her training at RCSB and went on to graduate with a BFA in dance from Ryerson University in 2003. After having had the opportunity to study and collaborate with many renowned dance artists in Toronto, Kelly ventured to Argentina and Taiwan to explore new avenues of training, teaching and living!
Upon returning home, she became an active member of Dancetheatre David Earle, Portal Dance and Fall on Your Feet Dance Collective, performed with Imageo Artworks and co-created pieces for the fabulous Short&Sweet. She is currently gearing up to perform in The Returned (Portal Dance) for Guelph Dance Festival 2022.
In 2008 she was welcomed by Guelph Youth Dance Training Program as a teacher leading classes in ballet, jazz and creative dance to a wide range of ages. She loves providing structure, exploring tangents and discovering the many powerful possibilities through movement.
