Ishra is the Founder and Artistic Director of Invoketress Dance based in Guelph. With 26 years of dance experience and training from a variety of esteemed instructors around the world, she is a multi-faceted dancer with study in a number of styles including Belly Dance, Tribal Fusion, Flamenco and Polynesian dance. Alongside her extensive Middle Eastern, world dance training, and travel explorations, she also has a theatre background in the acting stream at York University and is a Royal Conservatory of Music certified piano teacher. As a result of her wide array of artistic training, she is able to connect with both her audiences and students on a profound, cultivated level.
