An ad-hoc gathering of strange and wonderful weirdos, the Guelph Jazz Festival Community Parade gathers this June in support of our friends at Guelph Dance to offer a preview of the much larger Community Parade from the Guelph Farmers’ Market to the Royal City Mission that takes place each September as part of the Guelph Jazz Festival.
Dance and sing with us as we travel the spaceways together between park performances. We’ll do our very best to get you where you need to go safely and as impossibly as possible.
Performers: Colin Couch, Connor Bennett, Heather Saumer, Joe Sorbara, Mark Zurawinski with members of the Guelph Youth Jazz Ensemble and the Campus Friends community.

The Guelph Jazz Festival is an internationally recognized celebration of live creativity. Our festival showcases experimental and avant-garde musics, free jazz, and improvisation. Over the course of the weekend, we offer concerts, workshops, artist talks, and a community parade—inviting audiences to discover something new and experience bold, in-the-moment music-making.
